First, let’s take a look at the definition of “persecution” from Miriam-Webster Online.
1 : to harass or punish in a manner designed to injure, grieve, or afflict; specifically : to cause to suffer because of belief
2 : to annoy with persistent or urgent approaches (as attacks, pleas, or importunities)
Christians take a hell of a lot of things for granted. A couple of blogs below with their independent breakdown of each of the LAME Top 10 Christian “Persecution” Stories of 2009 from none-other than Dr.-Pastor Gary Cass of the CADC – Christian Anti-Defamation Commission.
“Persecution in America! Is Fake!” — The Christian Anti-Defamation Commission released a list of ”the top ten incidents of anti-Christian defamation, bigotry and discrimination in the US from last year.” By now, it’s clear that I don’t see eye-to-eye with Christian doctrine, but this goes beyond that. The Christian worldview, at least as exemplified by these myopic hacks, distorts reality almost beyond recognition.

“Anti-Christian bigotry? Oh, this ought to be good!”
The Christian Anti-Defamation Commission has just released its list of the “top ten incidents of anti-Christian defamation, bigotry and discrimination in the US from last year.” This is yet another laughable attempt to stick the hatred and bigotry labels onto incidents that show no hatred and bigotry in order to claim that we hate Christians just as much as they hate us, and since we can rest assured that the media is going to do absolutely *zero* fact-checking of this list, I’ll go ahead and do it myself. Every one of these list items has a scintillating headline claiming bigotry or discrimination, and I’m going to determine for each one whether they are telling the truth and describing an actual bona fide example of defamation, bigotry, or discrimination, or whether they are lying.
