The Bible says if you look upon a woman with lust, you have already committed adultery and fornication in your heart. Whew! I’m safe on that one. Women from the Christian Taliban are handing out leaflets in Virginia to women they deem to be dressed in an “ungodly” manner. So outrageously unbelievable, they proclaim that victims of rape bring it upon themselves. My god. So, heterosexual men are predators who cannot control their lusts (heh, well, the religious ones, it seems) and it is all women’s fault for wearing ungodly clothing?
What is their excuse for the fact that 1-out-of-3 women in the U.S. Armed Forces report having been raped? Were they too sexy in those army fatigues? And, do they consider adult men the victims because they are helplessly driven to lustful insanity by the little girls they rape? Are little girls at fault, too? What about disabled and/or elderly rape victims?

A lady sitting in the backseat leaned forward, between the two men in front, and handed her a leaflet: “Women & Girls” it said across the top.
“Even though nothing is showing, you’re being ungodly,” Canter recalled the woman telling her. “You make men want to be sinful.”
Canter was wearing boots pulled up over jeans, a pink zebra-print shirt with a black jacket zipped up over it. She has blond hair, dark eye make-up and a little red lip ring. “I just asked if she needed any salt, pepper or ketchup,” Canter said. “I mean, how do I respond to that?”
Minutes later, Canter’s mother, Pam Yates, who owns the restaurant, returned from the bank. Canter handed her “Women & Girls” and Yates started reading.
“You may have been given this leaflet because of the way you are dressed,” it begins. “Have you thought about standing before the true and living God to be judged?”
It continues with one essential theme: The sins of men are, in part, the fault of women, specifically women in tight-fitting clothing. Yates was annoyed. Then she got to a section on page two:
“Scripture tells us that when a man looks on a woman to lust for her he has already committed adultery in his heart. If you are dressed in a way that tempts a men to do this secret (or not so secret) sin, you are a participant in the sin,” the leaflet states. “By the way, some rape victims would not have been raped if they had dressed properly. So can we really say they were innocent victims?”
The hand-out is signed “anonymous.”
Yates was angry.
.. unfuckingbelievable. This is a perfect example of why Christians are being mocked and derided, and looked upon as mentally deranged. Christianity = insanity. These revolting people are part of the rise of extremism wishing to institute Biblical Law™ into U.S. civil codes — the Christian version of Sharia Law: Dominion theology.

A girl or woman may behave unwisely or foolishly considering the world we live in, but it is NEVER her fault if she is robbed, raped, or otherwise criminally abused. Just as I may be unwise to leave the keys in my car, it is still entirely a thief’s fault if he steals my car.
No matter how she dresses or doesn’t dress, no one has a right to rape her.
A prostitute offering her services for pay on the street does not thereby grant anyone a right to force her to submit to sex. That is slavery.
How a woman or girl chooses to dress should take into consideration protecting herself. Also where she hangs out, parties she goes to, etc. Every one of us has a legal right to do things that are unwise or expose us to criminal victimization. Doing such things, however unwise, does not give anyone a right to abuse us, for a criminal to victimize us.
Not everyone who calls themselves “Christian” makes a good example of how Christ and His evangelists taught us to behave. Much of what such “Christians” say and do gives non-Christians “occasion to blaspheme” Romans 2:24.

Yes, yes I do want people of ‘my own kind’ (non-religious) living around me! It is documented fact: the least religious areas of the U.S. (I live in one) have the lowest crime rates, the highest education levels, better standards of living, healthier living and longer life spans — opposite of the more religious areas. Same is true for countries: the more religious a country is, the more crime, poverty and suffering there is — the less religious, the less crime there is and the better the quality of life is.
Sorry, but the “good christian values” thing does not pan out with reality. Some of the most religious people I have dealt with are the most unscrupulous bastards. The last “good christian” (a church deacon) I dealt with had to get bailed out of jail. I can do without ’em.

I don’t know what the lady was wearing that made them say otherwise. I mean her boots are pulled over her legs, her coat is on but then again she might have objected to her lip ring. Piercings and tattos are forbidden in the scruptures. But there are quite a few who ARE ungodly and dress up showing off all they can legally.
Also most rapes are fake. Heard of an incident in Beaverton Oregon where some slut tried to file a false report against her boyfriend crying rape yet lo and behold she lied.
