Yet Another Anti-Gay Arsonist Burns Yet Another Gay Couple’s Home

image from WRAL.com websiteWhile pulpits across the land burn with the Leviticus death threats “their blood shall be upon them”, another gay couple’s home is burned to the ground after enduring a year of christian-based anti-gay threats, according to a  neighbor of the Clayton, North Carolina victims. [link]

[…]

A neighbor, who asked to remain anonymous for fear of backlash against her, said there have been at least three separate incidents of anti-gay harassment at the home. A note with derogatory language was left in the mailbox, an anti-gay slur was written on the house with marker, and the tires of a car parked in the garage were slashed, the neighbor said.

“For this to happen here… it’s heartbreaking,” she said. “I can’t even put into words how horrible it is for them.”

Bizzell confirmed that the sheriff’s office was aware of two of those incidents, but would not say which two. He would not confirm whether they are related to the arson investigation.

“I felt sick to my stomach. I felt so sorry for the two gentlemen. They lost everything,” the couple’s friend and neighbor said. “We do believe that this is a hate crime.”

[…]

I posted about more anti-gay arson and fire-bomb attacks HEREHERE, and HERE.  These have all happened in the last six months or so.

Yes, keep spreading your message of love and peace, christian leaders. /sarcasm.

Christian leaders preaching hate and lies are directly responsible for these incidents.  “Ye shall know them by their fruits.”

Georgia Home Firebombed Following Christian Anti-Gay Threats

A 40-something gay man in Carroll County, Georgia was in his living room when a rock came smashing through the window of his house.

[… ]

The rock had a threatening note attached.

“It said, ‘we know you’re gay. And God hates gays. You won’t be raping anybody in the county and God’s going to make sure that you burn in hell.’ And something about my daddy… my daddy will make sure you burn in hell,”

Then hours later, he woke up to flames filling his bedroom.

[…]

His mother said she heard a commotion and saw fire coming from her son’s house next door. She said she ran out to find Staples lying in the yard. She said she thought he was dead.

[…]

“This is the first time I’ve dealt with anything of this nature in 16 years,” said Capt. Shane Taylor of the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office.
“I can’t believe anyone would have such hatred in their heart as to do somebody like that, especially when they don’t even know him. They don’t know him,” she said.“It hasn’t sunk in to me yet that somebody intentionally tried to burn my house down with me in it, and it just doesn’t register,” Staples [the victim] said.

More Christian anti-gay arson crimes:

I posted HERE about a fire-bombing incident last October in Canada following weeks of harassment, threatening notes with Christian anti-gay bullshit, then the mailbox burned down, then *boom* — a fire-bomb through the bedroom window in the early morning hours.  The couple barely escaped with their lives and their dog.  Everything burned to the ground.
Glory to Jesus!  Praise his name!

Canadian Gay Couple’s Home Firebombed After Christian Threats

”]A quiet gay couple, who townsfolk say are just nice, normal people who kept to themselves, woke up in the early morning hours on October 18, 2010 to a firebomb smashing through the bedroom window.  The house burned to the ground and they barely escaped with their dog and their lives.

GuardianUK:

[…]

The man said there were a series of disturbing events that have happened at their house since May that began with an anonymous card he received shortly after the couple moved into the area.

“We received a note in our mailbox … telling us the sins of what we were doing.”

He described it as “a church card in an envelope … with church sayings on it.” He said it contained a printed phrase condemning gay sexuality as sinful. The police now have the card, he said.

A week before the house fire, the couple’s mailbox was set ablaze, he said.

“There’s been ongoing things,” he said. “We were fearful … I slept with a pitchfork in the bedroom.”

He said other events also occurred but he couldn’t disclose details without harming the police investigation.

TN Couple’s Home Torched After Threats From Neighbor

hate crime in TN

QUEERS lived here.

In Tennessee, a lesbian couple’s home was burned to the ground in a possible arson hate crime (emphasis added):

Carol Stutte says her partner is too afraid to come back to the property since the fire. She says they’ve been harassed all five years they’ve lived there by one neighbor.

She also says recently the neighbor threatened to kill them and burn down their house,” Stutte said. “I knew we had been threatened, but we never thought anything would be followed through,”

Lora Black, the Stutte’s neighbor and friend, was with the couple in Nashville when they learned their home was on fire.

“Right now, they are just terrified that our county is feeling like this about homosexual couples. Most homosexual couples are no different than any other couples,” Black said.

The Stuttes are staying in a safe house until investigators can determine what happened the night of the fire.

Hate Crimes Protest In D.C. A Big Bust

See how lying makes one constipated?

Lying can make you constipated

Dr.-Pastor Gary Cass and his loony bin of bigots assembled in front of the Justice Department on Monday, 11-16-09 to get all up in da face of da man – yeh! right on!  Boldly they stood; boldly they preached, and boldly they just.kinda.fizzled.  out.

DC Podiums, obviously sent by God (She works in mysterious ways), upon discovering the message of the group who had hired him, donated his fee to the gay rights supporters, and gave them full use of the sound mics after the Haters for Jesus™ were done … to balance out the karma.  😉

Gary Cass Lying His Ass Off On Christian Broadcasting Network

CBN's logo for Hate Crimes

CBN's logo for Hate Crimes

Sporting their quaint logo for Hate Crimes, the Christian Broadcasting Network’s coverage of Dr.-Pastor Gary Cass’ protest in D.C. was the usual Lying Liars Lying For Jesus – God made it the first report so we wouldn’t have to suffer through the 30-minute broadcast. Says Dr. Cass:

“Those scriptures are already illegal in some countries that have hate crimes laws, Canada being the closest, so we know where hate crimes legislation leads, uh, as we said it’s not “Hate Crimes”, it’s “Hate Christians” because it’s Christians who are actually on the receiving end of the prosecution of these laws.”

It goes on and on.  Does this fuckhead praise Jesus with that LYING mouth?  Cass and these other clowns have got to know they are lying to their audience.

Gay Puerto Rican, 19, Murdered

Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico

From Towleroad, and CNN iReport, a well-known19-year-old teen was brutally murdered in Puerto Rico.

I know our gay-hating, Leviticus 20:13-spewing, christianist zealots are applauding this.  Beat them, stone them, let their blood run in the street; their blood is on their own hands.  So says the Holy Book of Rape and Hate Bible.  From the iReport:

The police agent that is handling this case said on a public televised statement that ‘people who lead this type of lifestyle need to be aware that this will happen’. As If the boy murdered Jorge Steven Lopez was asking to get killed…”

That’s it, you just need to be aware that someone might kill you, and oh well — that’s pretty much the same things are being said by U.S. public religious and political figures. This was a horrible murder; the iReport from Christopher Pagan is below the fold.

“Christians on high alert”

Hate Crime

In my latest email from OneNewsNow is the startling headline “Christians on high alert over hate crimes passage”.  Holy fuck! whaddawe gonna do now?

A hate crimes bill sent to President Obama for his signature raises a red flag for Christians.

On Thursday, the U.S. Senate passed a hate crimes bill that Christian leaders have warned for years could greatly infringe on the rights of those who speak to loudly about their religious views. Matt Barber of Liberty Counsel agrees with most observers that President Obama will sign the measure — adding that the president desires to “throw a bone to homosexual activists because they have been breathing down his neck…and this is a way to hold them off.”

(my note) Speak as loud as you want.  Let that little light of bigotry shine, bubba.  You forget who has been quietly living simple lives, working, supporting and caring for loved ones, enduring direct discrimination with no recourse, and paying taxes while people who can”t hold a job because they abuse their employer’s resources for their own personal gain and personal opinion you pander money from ignorant and gullible people with your religion scam and personal issues.  Then to wake up and find the likes of you threatening [folks you don’t even know] with “biblical law” bullshit on the floor of the statehouses.

Barber views the legislation as something akin to a muzzle. “Unfortunately, it places Christians — people of faith, people who have traditional values relative to sexual immorality…in an untenable position,” says the attorney.

(my note) It’s impossible to muzzle a christianis, or muslimist or any of ya.  Ah, so christians just want the good old fashioned heterosexual adultery, like diaper sex with prostitutes.  Do not pretend you christianists are so damn holy.  Christians (and goddamn Muslims and Mormons) have been protected all along by hate crimes legislation.  Do not pretend that hate crimes legislation is some new idea by “homo activists”.

He notes that several years ago, a similar law in Pennsylvania resulted in the arrest of 11 Christians who were presenting the gospel at a Philadelphia homosexual rally. Barber goes on to say that the federal bill “will chill religious liberty and free speech — and that is its intended purpose, not to protect anybody from hate crimes.”

(my note) Bullshit.  Um, Michael Marcavage was arrested for standing in the wrong spot to preach, a spot where he was blocking business from people who paid to have a booth.  Police pointed over to the spot where he could go to preach and he refused.  That is why he was arrested, not because of what or why he was preaching.  And besides, who the fuck listens to crazy street preachers, anyway?  Marcavage puts himself into these situations so that he can get attention and run frivolous lawsuits.  Nobody’s “chilling” anybody’s liberty.

And as for pastors? “There is a very weak exemption in [the bill] which is totally illusory, and a religious exemption is not going to protect pastors,” responds Barber. “Renegade prosecutors and politically correct leftists in positions of authority can subjectively determine what is or is not a hate crime.” And then move on to prosecution, he adds.

(my note) Oh, you mean like renegade christianist lawmakers who call for homos to be put to death.  You say that pastors won’t be protected, so that makes your lie true?

Barber explains that Liberty Counsel intends to challenge the constitutionality of the hate crimes legislation.

So of course, after this urgent message, I headed straight for the “Add New Post” button on the bloggy thing.
