British Muslims Encouraged To Attack Democracy

British Islamist Abu Mounis at the December 2010 “Islamic Awakening Conference” calling for Muslims to attack democracy and replace it with Islam.  It’s not enough, he says, to preach to the few and convert a few.  He says they must make all of society bow down and submit to Allah.

Bill Pinhead O’Reilly Versus American Atheists’ Dave Silverman

Bill O’Reilly thinks that an invisible man in the sky controls the motion of the ocean tides and there’s no other way to explain it.  What a Pinhead!  Yes, the man who wrote a book called Pinheads and Patriots, the man who constantly talks over guests who hold opposing viewpoints and berates and insults them, says that it’s insulting for someone to say that religion is a scam and calls his guest, Dave Silverman, a ‘loon’.  O’Reilly has used his “tide goes in, tide goes out, sun comes up, sun goes down” argument on several occasions to “prove” god exists, as Steven Colbert shows in this clip.

Christians who are offended by this ‘scam’ message, are offended about only the christian part — they will readily inform you that all the other religions referenced on the billboard are scams, and don’t you dare question or criticize or mock their beliefs!  And so will Muslims do the same, and on and on.  They’re all full of shit, and they’re all scams.

Moderate Muslim Scholars Praise Murderer Of Pakistani Governor

Over 500, that’s five hundred, Muslim scholars, who are considered moderates, are praising the body guard who murdered Pakistan’s Punjab governor, Salman Taseer, over his opposition to the country’s severe blasphemy laws.  Cheering lawyers showered flowers on the killer, Mumtaz Qadri,as he was fescorted into court.

Taseer has been criticized, by moderate Muslims, for his support of Asia Bibi, the mother of small children who has been imprisoned for a year for allegedly blaspheming the “prophet” Muhammad, and a majority of Pakistanis want her executed.

This is moderate Islam.  From MSNBC:

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — Lawyers showered the suspected assassin of a liberal Pakistani governor with rose petals as he entered court. Some 170 miles away, the prime minister joined thousands to mourn the loss of the politician, who dared to challenge the demands of Islamic extremists.

The cheers and tears across the country Wednesday underscored Pakistan’s journey over the past several decades from a nation defined by moderate Islam to one increasingly influenced by fundamentalists willing to use violence to impose their views.

Even so-called moderate Muslim scholars praised 26-year-old Mumtaz Qadri for allegedly killing Punjab province Gov. Salman Taseer on Tuesday in a hail of gunfire while he was supposed to be protecting him as a bodyguard. Qadri later told authorities he acted because of Taseer’s vocal opposition to blasphemy laws that order death for those who insult Islam.

As Qadri was escorted into court in Islamabad, a rowdy crowd patted his back and kissed his cheek as lawyers at the scene threw flowers. On the way out, some 200 sympathizers chanted slogans in his favor, and the suspect stood at the back door of an armored police van and repeatedly yelled “God is great.”

The response from the United States Secretary of State Clinton has been very weak, no mention of the horrific acts being committed in the name of religion, no mention of blasphemy laws, only a generic ‘we-will-help-them-in-their-time-of-turmoil’ bullshit.  Here is a good WashTimes editorial on it.

Ex-Muslim Could Face Life Sentence For Blasphemy

Twenty-six year old Walid, or Waleed, Husayin (pseudonym), a barber in the West Bank of Palestine, was trucked down and arrested because of his satirical Facebook claims to be Allah.

This man’s own family and townspeople want him imprisoned for life and/or dead.  But, why would they dare say anything different, lest they be locked up, too?

Meanwhile, a Pakistani doctor has been arrested and charged with “blasphemy” because he threw away a business card of a pharmaceutical rep whose name is Muhammad.  The rep turned him.  Why isn’t the rep guilty of blasphemy for comparing himself to Muhammad, as though tossing his business card equaled tossing the “prophet”?  And, why isn’t naming your kid after the “holy” “prophet” a form of blasphemy itself?  Using the fucked-up logic of religion, a living person named Muhammad seems to be more of a likeness than drawing a picture of someone who nobody knows what he actually looked like.

Nothing in religion makes sense.

Pakistanis want international blasphemy law

It makes my stomach turn when I hear apologists’ claims that Islam is a Religion of Peace™ and that, meh, it’s just a few extremists giving it a bad name.  Bullshit.

The few extremists in Pakistan, comprising most of the population of Pakistan, are threatening to explode the country into violence if the government pardons Asia Bibi, a Christian woman, accused of “blasphemy” by her peaceful, loving Muslim co-workers.

A CNN report the other day showed Asia Bibi’s children wondering if their mother would be executed; then reports came that the government was considering dropping the charges and setting her free (to be mobbed and killed by angry, peaceful muslims).  Her husband and children, one of whom is disabled, had to flee their village because of death threats from their neighbors, who are filled with Allah’s love and peace, of course.

The Pakistani government fears it’s own fucking people if they remove the controversial blasphemy law, as some are calling for; the fucking Quran (unlike the fucking Bible) doesn’t even call for death in the case of blasphemy — that was later added by “scholars”.

The town cleric stated (in the CNN video) that he had “tears of joy pouring from his eyes” — not for the possible release of this poor innocent woman, but for his beloved “prophet”; he said that Bibi’s death sentence was one of the “happiest moments of his life”.  That is just fucking sick.  And the sheep go with it, unanimously agreeing (or else) that she should be hanged.

Aiming It In The Wrong Direction

This is too Allah-damn funny, I can’t stand it.  Muslims in Indonesia have been praying in the wrong direction.  Baaahaha!

JAKARTA (Reuters) – Indonesia’s Muslims learned on Friday they have been praying in the wrong direction, after the country’s highest Islamic authority said its directive on the direction of Mecca actually had people facing Africa.

Muslims are supposed to face the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia during prayer and the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) issued an edict in March stipulating westward was the correct direction from the world’s most populous Muslim country.

“But it has been decided that actually the mosques are facing Somalia or Kenya, so we are now suggesting people shift the direction slightly to the north-west,” the head of the MUI, Cholil Ridwan, told Reuters. “There’s no need to knock down mosques, just shift your direction slightly during prayer.”

Facebook Founder Investigated By Pakistan For Blasphemy

Facebook founder is being investigated by Pakistani police for violating their country’s blasphemy laws, which carry the death penalty, in reaction to the Everybody Draw Muhammed group.

… a Pakistani High Court judge summoned the police after lawyer Muhammad Azhar Siddique filed an application for a First Information Report (FIR), claiming that the owners of Facebook had committed a heinous and serious crime under Section 295-C of the Pakistan Penal Code. In essence, an FIR launches a criminal investigation. But no charges have been filed.

“Heinous and serious crime”?  Drawing a goddamned picture?  Of a long dead person who absolutely nobody knows what the hell he even looked like?  Or, do they mean heinous and serious as in poisoning girls’ schools, throwing acid in children’s faces?  Honor killings?  Punishing severely women who are raped?  Morality police who flog women in the streets for showing a crack of ankle?  Heinous and serious crime like that?  Or, do they mean the laughable concept of blasphemy?

According to the paper, Section 295-C of the penal code reads: “Use of derogatory remark etc, in respect of the Holy Prophet, whoever by words, either spoken or written, or by visible representation, or by any imputation, innuendo, or insinuation, directly or indirectly, defiles the sacred name of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) shall be punished with death, or imprisonment for life, and shall also be liable for fine.”

But, but, he’s not a holy anything.  He was a lunatic that heard voices, like all other religious lunatics, like the religious lunatics that are “investigating” the creator of Facebook for an imaginary “crime”.  Why are persons outside of the islamic faith subject to islam’s inside rules?  Islamists are pushing for the U.N. to adopt global blasphemy laws.  Even Christians in the U.S. think their bullshit religion is above criticism.

Revolution Muslim (dot-com) posted a threat warning on their website next to a picture of the body of the slain Dutch cartoonist who drew a cartoon of the prophet Mohammed (PBUH) (Peanut Butter Upon Him).

But that’s not a threat!  Just because they lay out exactly what could, maybe, possibly, might happen in a sorta real kinda way but not, is no reason to think they are making a threat!  How dare anyone misconstrue “this might happen to you” coupled with “photo of murdered man who did what you did” and make it out to be a threat!  “We will Someone might kill you!  It’s just a word of caution, that’s all!”

WTF?  Muslims expect to garner respect for their beliefs and their actions and their threats?  And how the fuck does someone expect people to follow in-house religious rules when they are not part of that religion?  How does believing in all of the fabricated myths that Muslims, Christians, Jews, etc. believe in, give them the idea that non-religious (or other-religous) people are obligated to follow their religious, superstitious bullshit?

Blasphemy.  Aren’t all religions blasphemous to all other religions?  Aren’t the Sunnis blasphemous in the eyes of the Shia and vice versa?  The Catholics, blasphemous in the eyes of the Baptists et v. v.?

Since when do the religious command non-believers to obey something that is imaginary?  (well, all the damn time, really)

Muslim v. Christian Violence In Nigeria Worsens

Peaceful Muslims and peaceful Christians in Nigeria have been at each others’ throats for years.  Not even their shared hatred for homos can bring them together in harmony.  It works like an Easy Button in the U.S. with Mormons, Catholics and Protestants, traditionally damning each other to Hell, having found the beautiful common ground of arrogance, ignorance, fear and hatred when it comes to gay people.

“Angry Muslim youths” torched a Catholic church packed with worshippers.  Three hundred dead, and expect more as this latest volley has just begun.  It’s in ever-regressing retaliation that this bullshit continues (everywhere in the world), every generation indoctrinating the next, and it never enda.  People fight and die over this imaginary superstition in their heads.  ‘God’ and ‘Allah’ are creations of men, reflecting exactly the nature and desires of each of their creators.

One More Reason To Despise Islam

I had forgotten about Islam and man’s best friend.

Traditionally, dogs have been seen as impure, and the Islamic legal tradition has developed several injunctions that warn Muslims against most contact with dogs. Unfortunately, many Muslims have used this view to justify the abuse and neglect of dogs, even though cruelty contradicts the Qur’an’s view that all animals form “communities like you.”

Animal abuse, cruelty, and/or neglect form part of the many social ills plaguing the Muslim community.

Dogs.  They can’t touch dogs because they’re “unclean”.  If the dog’s saliva touches your skin, or gets on your clothing, you have to immediately wash it clean.  (Our two Labradors are a hell of a lot cleaner than their filthy religion.)

Last Ramadaan, I wrote an article highlighting the phenomenon whereby misinformed Muslims took their dogs (and/or cats) to the animal hospitals or mobile clinics during Ramadaan, to have them put to death by lethal injection. The reason given by the majority of these Muslims was that Islam forbids them to keep a dog.

Then why in the fuck does someone practicing goddamn Islam have a dog in the first place, if their stupid religion forbids them to have a dog? … WTF?! … and then to have the helpless dog carried in upside-down by his plastic-wrapped legs (can’t touch the dog!) and put to death just to conform to their “holy” book during the “holy” holidays?  “Misinformed”?  How about “mentally mis-balanced”?

Global Ban On Blasphemy Gaining Acceptance At U.N.

More U.N. member nations are lining themselves up with the OIC (Organization of the Islamic Conference) in the decade-old push for international laws criminalizing blasphemy.  The term “defamation of religions” is in debate over adding it to the ICERD (International Covenant on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination ) — what a mouthful — and a what a load of crap.  Religion defames itself all the time.  Religious followers defame themselves, their own religion and the religions of others — they need absolutely no help in the defamation department.

A new Irish law took effect on January 1, criminalizing the act of  ‘blasphemy‘.  And, this law is being used by the Islamic Allah-fuckers (The Organization of Islamic Conference, or OIC) to reword and model their blasphemy laws in their on-going efforts to persuade the UN to establish the global criminalization of blasphemy.  It’s a death penalty in Pakistan.  Death, for criticizing belief in imaginary beings.

Michael Nugent, spokesman for Atheist Ireland, rightly calls the law “silly” because of its medieval focus on protecting ideas instead of people, and “dangerous” since it actually offers incentives for religious outrage.

Already, Nugent points out, Pakistan — where blasphemy is punishable by execution — has adopted most of the wording of the Irish law in its latest effort to get the UN to bar blasphemy internationally.

Peaceful Islam - Blasphemy Law

Religion MUST be questioned.  Religion MUST be scrutinized and criticized.  The ironic part about religious persecution is that is mostly happens between differing religions or denominations.  People who don’t believe in magic powers and floating god-beings should stop being silent.  This shit with Muslims trying to get global laws imposed, has been going on for a few decades, and it’s creeping closer to acceptance at the UN.
